1. The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced that it will no longer accept any data on US imported goods containing vague descriptions. If the description of the goods is deemed ambiguous and rejected by CBP, FedEx may refuse the goods at the origin or detain the goods at the origin until complete data is provided.
Accurate description can clearly indicate the material and purpose of the product. For example, it should be detailed as "children"s toys made of plastic" instead of simply labeled as "toys"; Similarly, it should be described as "women"s clothing made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester" rather than being referred to as "clothing" in general.
FedEx hereby reminds customers that providing accurate cargo descriptions is crucial when creating goods to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. Any goods identified by CBP as hing vague descriptions will be rejected and may result in delays.
Due to the serious situation, we would like to remind all freight forwarders once again that it is necessary to correctly declare the value and product name. Without the correct declared price, it will not only affect the operation process and timeliness of the goods, but also strengthen the verification of the goods" price in the future. This issue should be dealt with strictly, and relevant problematic goods should not be allowed to flow into our company"s network. If the goods are returned to Hong Kong due to such issues, all related charges (including return shipping fees and other miscellaneous fees) will be borne by the sender and cannot be appealed. Please be informed, thank you!
2. We he received feedback from overseas that there is suspicion of ticket splitting in some Amazon shipments from the United States. A freight forwarder is shipping multiple tickets per day (with each ticket declared to he alue less than $800) to the same importer in Amazon, USA.
Suspected of intentionally splitting multiple shipments on the same day and sending them to the same recipient/multiple private names (the same importer) in an attempt to evade tax liability. It was also discovered that there were suspected cases of ticket splitting and sending to different Amazon operation centers. Please be aware that this behior has the potential to violate local Section 321 regulations. If the shipment does not meet the relevant regulatory requirements, it will be refused entry by the US government and directly returned to the place of shipment. The shipping costs (including return fees and other miscellaneous fees) and related expenses incurred will be directly borne by the sender and cannot be appealed. Please be informed, thank you!
