Important note: changes in US regulation of Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Canada and Mexico since March 4, 2025
From March 4, 2025 (US Eastern Time), all products originating in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong, China with a customs value of more than 800 dollars will be subject to an additional 10% tariff; Unless these products meet the minimum tax exemption threshold (de minimas). This means that on the basis of the existing tariffs and taxes before February 1, 2025, the total additional applicable tariffs for products originating in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong will reach 20%.
In addition, an additional 25% tariff will be imposed on products originating from Canada and Mexico, while a 10% tariff will be imposed on Canadian oil.
