The Optical Fiber Polarization Beam Combiner (PBC) or Polarization Beam Splitter(PBS) is used to couple two orthogonal polarized beams into one optical fiber,or to couple orthogonal linearly polarized beams contained in one optical fiber into two polarization-maintaining optical fibers,respectively,and the polarization direction is parallel to the slow axis of the polarization maintaining fiber.
