SupplyAccording to Mr. Lê Thanh Hòa, Deputy Director of the Department of Quality, Processing, and Market Development (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), Vietnam has been participating in the agricultural export market for about 30 years. Since 1990, when Vietnam could only export 20 million USD, agricultural exports he seen significant growth, reaching approximately 53 billion USD in 2023. In the first five months of this year, the export value has already reached 24 billion USD, making Vietnam one of the world"s leading agricultural exporters.

Among these, the fruit and vegetable sector has shown remarkable development over the past five years. From an export value of around 500 million USD in the years 2015-2016, the sector reached over 5 billion USD in 2023, with the durian industry contributing more than 2 billion USD.

As a transportation hub of the southern key economic region, Đồng Nai has attracted many domestic and international businesses to invest in storage and deep processing plants over the years. This has facilitated the export of goods, increasing the export turnover of Đồng Nai province and making it one of the top localities with the highest export turnover in the country for many years.
