It"s an optical device based on the transmission characteristics of optical fibers and the electric control adjustment technology. It dynamically adjusts the propagation path length of the optical signal in the fiber through an electric control mechanism, achieving precise control of picosecond (ps) level time delay. The core principle is to utilize the linear relationship between the propagation speed of light in the fiber (approximately 200,000 kilometers per second) and the length of the fiber, and by adjusting the effective length or refractive index of the fiber, delay adjustment from nanosecond to millisecond levels can be achieved. The 3000ps model supports a maximum delay range of 3000 picoseconds (3 nanoseconds), with a resolution of 0.05 picoseconds, and is suitable for scenarios such as high-frequency signal synchronization and system calibration.
