Recently, YIHO discovered that ietnamese individual named Phan Cong Truong has been using the fake domain www.yihogroups.com to imitate YIHO’s official website www.yihogroup.cn. This individual is suspected of fraud, extortion, impersonation, and cyber-related criminal activities targeting suppliers and customers worldwide.
According to verified records, the individual pretends to be a buyer, attracts suppliers with low-price inquiries, then demands compensation using false “quality disputes” and “contract claims.” YIHO previously suffered losses after transferring compensation funds, but the extortion continued with demands exceeding USD 50,000.
